Andrea is the owner and Artistic Director at Art in Motion School of Dance, located in Fairfield Township, Ohio. She has studied the art of dance for over 20 years. She began assistant instruction at the age of thirteen and professional instruction at the age of sixteen. As a dancer her extensive training included over 18 combined years where she has studied all styles of dance. She was a very successful competitive dancer winning many national titles and overall awards. Andrea was also a three year Edgewood Choralier, who won many titles, best performer awards, and taught choreography. Andrea participated and choreographed many musicals and plays. She was in Paramounts Kings Island's "School of Rock" and "The Nick Jr. Parade". Andrea still continues to go out of town to take classes to keep up with the latest styles of dance and choreographs for local High School Dance Teams. Outside of Andrea's dance life her most amazing accomplishment is her daughter, Madeline and her recently engaged Fiance, Ryan. Andrea looks forward to a wonderful future at Art in Motion.
Samee is a second year instructor at AIM. She began her dance training at the age of thirteen and fell in love with it. She has trained in all areas of dance, but her specialty is hip-hop. Samee has competed both regionally and nationally for four years. She has taught and choreographed for the past four years. Samee was the team captian and dancer of the Fairfield High School Dance Team and involved in numerous plays and musicals in which she have choreographed. During that time she also choreographed the competitive hip hop routine for the Fairfield Middle School Dance Team. Now while teaching dance, Samee is also working on a Zoology major at Miami University - Oxford. She is a pre-medical student and works on campus at Project Dragonfly. While in college she has taken dance classes and participated in dance conventions to keep up with the latest styles. Samee is also the coach and choreographer of the Talawanda High School Dance Team who have won numerous awards with her involvement. Samee loves teaching dance and spending time with her students. Being a teacher is an extremely rewarding job; to watch each student achieve and surpass their own goals is something that she loves being a part of.
Karli started dancing at the age of three at Oui Danse was quickly moved onto the competition team. She changed studios in 5th grade and began competing at Allthatjazz Dance Centre. While there she learned a wide variety of styles including, but not limited to, jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, musical theatre and pom. There she had received many national and regional titles and awards. Karli was very involved with with her school activities where she danced for her high school’s dance team and was a cheerleader and captain of the cheerleading squad. Karli still continues to take dance classes from the CCM dance department at her school. She has a lot experience with student teaching dance classes, summer dance camp, and as a cheerleading coach. Aside from teaching dance Karli is working towards her degree in Food & Nutrition and minoring in Business Administration at University of Cincinnati. This is Karli's second year teaching at AIM!
