What the weekend is
Dance the Magic runs the event. Art in Motion brings the dancers, the choreography, and staff who stay with your dancer all weekend.
The parade
Dancers age 10 and up perform down Main Street U.S.A. in a custom Dance the Magic costume, in front of thousands of guests.
The showcase
A full performance on a stage inside a Disney theme park, with a Mickey and Minnie appearance. Open to dancers 7 and up.
The rest of it
Three nights at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, a 3-Day Park Hopper ticket, a VIP Celebration Party, and a professional photo shoot with unlimited downloads.
Who can go
These age cutoffs are Walt Disney World policy. We cannot make exceptions, so please check your dancer's birthday before you register.
Parade and showcase
The full experience. Main Street parade, the stage showcase, custom parade costume, dress rehearsal, and the VIP Dancer Luncheon.
Must turn 10 by July 18, 2027.Showcase only
Everything except the parade, which has a hard age floor. Dancers still perform on the Disney stage and join every dancer activity.
Must turn 7 by July 17, 2027.Guests
Parents, siblings, grandparents. Guests get the hotel, the Park Hopper, the Celebration Party, and a wristband for the showcase.
Ages 3 and up. Every dancer travels with a parent or guardian. What it costs
You will be paying two separate companies, and we keep them separate on purpose so you always know what is going where.
The travel package
Priced per person, and it depends on how many people share your hotel room. Four to a room is the lowest price per person, one to a room is the highest. This is the single biggest thing you control.
Package prices, deposits, and refund policy all live in the Dance the Magic Studio Family Welcome Packet. Use the estimator below to see your family's number.

Rehearsals at Art in Motion
Sixteen hours total, included in your Registration Fee.
How it is scheduled
Every other week, so competition weekends and AIM events land on the off weeks and your dancer gets a full week to practice what they just learned.
Showcase routine: six 2-hour rehearsals, April through June.
Parade, learn: 2 hours in late June.
Parade, polish: 2 hours the week before we travel.
Target windows. The full schedule goes out as soon as instructor dates are confirmed and loaded into our system.
Attendance is mandatory
With rehearsals two weeks apart, one absence is a month-long gap. Miss more than one showcase rehearsal and your dancer may be reassigned within the routine. Both parade rehearsals are required.
Private lessons are available at our standard rate if your dancer needs extra time.
This is a dance event, not a family vacation
The weekend belongs to Dance the Magic. Rehearsals, the showcase and the parade come first, and the schedule is theirs. If you want real park time, add days before or after the event.
That said, you will not be on your own. The AIM team organizes group ride time, dancer hangouts, and parent meet-ups on top of the official schedule, so the trip feels like ours and not just a package.
Ready to hold your dancer's spot?
Dance the Magic requires 20 dancers, at least 10 of them parade dancers, before Art in Motion can sign our contract. The sooner families register, the sooner our spot is confirmed.
Pay the AIM Registration Fee. $250 per dancer, $150 each additional sibling. This is what holds the spot.
Register with Dance the Magic and put down $100 per person by September 23 to lock the early-bird savings.
Join the Band group so you get schedules, reminders and updates in one place.
